First Aged to Perfection Social Gathering Held at Belmont Village

Judy Tamkin saw her vision become reality when the first event of the UCLA Geriatrics-affiliated Aged to Perfection social group was held on an August afternoon on the patio of Belmont Village in Westwood. Judy put her plan into action to encourage more social interaction between people who are indeed "aged to perfection" through organizing both fun and informative events. The inaugural event was centered around a theme of Laughter & Lemonade and featured a comedian who was a recent finalist in the "Last Comic Standing." Guests were invited to come and reconnect, meet new friends, and share memories, concerns and joys with each other. Judy and Laurie Nussbaum of Belmont Village hosted a wonderful afternoon of refreshing conversation in a relaxed setting. Dr. Brandon Koretz enjoyed mingling with the guests.
