|AGRC Gero Mini Fellowship|
The UCLA Academic Geriatric Resource Center (AGRC) and the Donald W. Reynolds Faculty Development to Advance Geriatric Education Program (FD~AGE) collaborate to present a three-day retreat in February at UCLA. The primary goal of the program is faculty development for UCLA teachers who have not had formal training in geriatrics, gerontology, or aging. We bring together faculty members from gerontology, nursing, social work, public health, medicine, and dentistry academic and fieldwork training programs. This program provides content, curricular tools, and teaching methodologies specifically related to aging. Participants are encouraged to produce a curricular innovation based on their experience at the conference.
Sponsored by the UCLA Academic Geriatric Resource Center, the 3-day Gero Mini-Fellowship Program is dedicated to improving the quality of life of older persons through faculty development.
All AGRC participants will attend core sessions.
