This four-day intensive course in geriatric medicine emphasizes a functional assessment approach to comprehensive care of older adults and is directed toward health care professionals who care for older persons, and toward faculty in teaching programs in geriatrics and gerontology. The 2012 course will be especially useful to internists and family physicians who are preparing for
either the Examination for the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine or the Re-certification Examination.
