Office of Research
Administration believes in providing complete, timely
and accurate service in the areas of pre award and post award
research administration in order to minimize the administrative
burden for the principal investigators and to encourage growth
in research funding to our Department.
Rigorous
compliance with the rules and regulations applicable to intramural
and extramural funding as outlined by the various federal
and private funding agencies and institutions and maintaining
the integrity of the financial data are fundamental to our
mission.
In
order to accomplish the above objectives, we begin with the
basic premise that our most important asset is the human asset
and that every individual is important and deserves to be
treated with respect. To accomplish this we believe in empowering
our employees and providing them with the opportunity to enhance
their skills, knowledge and abilities to further their career
development. We believe in maintaining a workforce that is
