The
UCLA Center on Aging
was founded in 1991 to enhance productive and healthy life
through research and education on aging. The Center builds
upon UCLA's geriatrics program, ranked #1 nationally by U.S.
News & World Report for the past nine years. Its goals are
to bring together foremost specialists in the field of aging
for interdisciplinary research and education efforts; expand
research initiatives; develop a degree-granting program and
postdoctoral research training; and promote community education
and life-long learning.
